Tea on the Terrace with Jane Means…..

A cup of tea and a roll of ribbon…..

I am delighted to share with you news that the queen of  gorgeous ribbon and gift wrapping, Jane Means has invited me to join her blogging team as a guest blogger to share ribbon styling ideas. As many of my friends will confirm I adore ribbon, often when I am wandering around a market I will pick something up and say ‘Oh, but with a bit of ribbon it would look beautiful!’.

Any day now there will be a knock at my front door (Ooo! I can feel a range of seasonal door wreaths decorated with ribbon as a new feature!) and the post man will hand me a parcel with a selection of ribbons from the new roll range. I wonder how it will be gift wrapped? Even a brown paper package tied up with string and simple luggage label attached with a small bow would be divine!

Since I received my invitation my brain has been buzzing with lots of creative ideas that I can share with you, from step by step ‘How to’s’ to quick transformations. With a sprinkling of seasonal inspiration. It won’t be all about gift wrapping, I shall include simple but effective crafting projects for the home (I ain’t no Kirsty Allsopp! So don’t worry if the only crafting equipment you own is a pair of scissor and an old biscuit tin with a few needles and thread!) I will also share with you how to use the ribbons for floristry  and even a few ideas for the garden.

I will keep you posted and I can’t wait to share the first project with you. (You can expect to see  a couple of ideas each month with images.)

I hope you will enjoy Tea on the Terrace with myself and Jane…..
